TV newsroom

Time for some new ideas?

Do you have a wild vision for what TV and video news could or should be? A weather report without a colorful and illegible map, a crime story with no police tape, a talk show that delivers more than talk?

Tell us about it using the form below and you could win $1,000 plus the chance to present your idea to an audience of people who might help make it happen at CUNY’s Graduate School of Journalism on Sept. 19. If we choose your idea, we’ll contact you to schedule your presentation. It’s your vision we care about, so the presentation itself can be anything from a video demonstration, to a storyboard, to a talk at a whiteboard.

If you’d just like to attend the event and learn about the future of TV news from scheduled speakers such as VICE News Editor-in-Chief Jason Mojica, Rob King, head of news at ESPN, and others, register now.
